Graphene-Assisted Synthesis of Fe4N with Enhanced Microwave Absorption Performance

Synergistic composite design of dielectric and magnetic materials is a highly attractive strategy to attenuate an electromagnetic wave. Herein, Fe4N/N-doped reduced graphene oxide (N-rGO) synthesized with facile solvothermal method plus nitridation process. Notably, the rGO not only provides loss, but also reduces nitride potential during process promotes phase formation Fe4N from Fe3O4. The wave absorption performance Fe4N/N-rGO thoroughly studied reveals that designed has minimum reflection loss ?53.1 dB at 14.8 GHz thickness 1.6 mm. Additionally, value ?41.63 achieved thinner matching 1.38 mechanism enhanced microwave proposed mainly due synergistic compositional advantages as well proper impedance match.Graphical Abstract
